Liberals hate Obamacare, too

Obamacare. Well, well, well. Turns out the right was right about this one. (Sorry I had to.) And as far as criticism goes, the Democrats don???t want to be left out (not sorry for that one), and they???ve been laying the complaints on thick.

Liberals aren???t known for their principles, but it is surprising how even the most ardent Obama buffs have turned their backs so violently on their beloved leader. It seems to be the first thing they’re unable to spin to their advantage. They’re stumped.

Here???s a recap of some of what Obama???s former fan base has been spewing of late (It???s not even an exhaustive list, but that also makes it more impressive):, a website established apparently for Obama cheerleaders, printed maybe its harshest-ever critique of the Commander-in-Chief when it published a piece entitled: ???Obamacare is a mess, and liberals need to fix it.”

HuffPo said Obamacare’s broken website “imperils the largest expansion of the American safety net since the Great Society,” and called it “disastrous.”

Ezra Klein, progressive Washington Post columnist and Obama coffee-dater, said that Obamacare ???is a disaster??? and that the administration ???did a terrible job.??? Ouch.

Former Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs called the Obamacare rollout ???excruciatingly embarrassing for the White House and for the Department of Health and Human Services.???

Let us not forget Jon Stewart???s mockery of the Obamacare ???glitches??? and simultaneous embarrassment of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. ???Give it to us straight, .gov, how bad is it???? an outraged and confounded Stewart asked on his Daily Show, and at one point covered his face in horror. He continued to rip the administration last night for “lying like mother???” about its effects.

And there was, of course, a flurry of other late night guys who took advantage of the pathetic mess and the outbreak of excuses and false promises that ensued from the Obamacare roll-out:

Leno: ???My friend was given six months today, by his doctor. Not to live, to sign up for Obamacare.???

Fallon: ???Don’t worry, the White House just announced it is bringing in the best and brightest tech experts to fix the glitches on the Obamacare website, which is a great plan. You know what would have been a better plan? To hire the best and brightest tech experts to make the Obamacare website.”

Conan: ???President Obama is urging Americans who are having trouble with the Obamacare website to sign up for healthcare by calling a 1-800 number. The number is 1-800-WE-DIDN’T-THINK-THIS-THROUGH.”

Kimmel: “They’re saying that if you are in need of healthcare, you have two choices, you can wait for them to get the site fixed, or you can enroll in medical school, graduate, and then just take care of yourself.”

And it’s gotten personal for lesser known “loyal Obama supporters, canceled by Obamacare,” now disillusioned.

Only MotherJones was able to turn a blind eye to the disaster: “Obamacare will be a boon to millions of people.”
